A great resource for kitten care can be found at Maddie’s Fund. Their kitten feeding chart can be found below and illustrates how much a kitten can take, at what age, and how often they should be fed. Weight is also an extremely important part of kitten care. You should always weigh as often as possible (at every feeding) to determine if your kitten is gaining a healthy amount of weight. A drop in weight is often the earliest indicator of a neonatal kitten going south. The fine print at the bottom also reiterates that a kitten should drink about 4 ml per 100 g of body weight. Follow this chart and your neonatal will thrive!
